At Colton Packaging, we take the pain out of the packaging process, allowing you to focus on getting your product out to the world. We take the time to learn about your business and your products, listening to what you need and then working hard to make it happen.
Our family has been helping customers for over 150 years, so we know what it takes to keep your business moving. Our approach is flexible and tailored to each customer to supply and manage packaging in a way that works for you.
Colton Packaging’s Stock and Serve process makes for painless packaging procurement.
Working closely with our manufacturers we can stock your bespoke packaging solution in bulk which means you can call-off smaller quantities of product on a ‘just-in-time’ basis that suits your production and packing schedule. We then replenish the stock when it reaches an agreed threshold to ensure the continuity of your supply.
Our Stock and Serve initiative means you can save valuable warehouse space and only store the packaging you need immediately. In the meantime, your future stock is stored in our clean and secure, fully racked warehouse. As well as saving space, your business benefits from improved cost allocation as all deliveries are invoiced as they’re delivered so you don’t need to pay for bulk orders in one go.
Packaging has been at the heart of the Colton family since 1850s. The business is now in its fifth generation and with each passing year our industry knowledge, product range and customer care has grown exponentially.
Our vast experience means that our customers are always in the safest hands and can trust us with their individual needs. We have fantastic relationships with our manufacturers and because we have our own warehouse and transport network, we can always meet your deadlines.
We undergo regular audits to ensure our operation meets the required standard for our customers working in supply chain.
Upon your initial enquiry, we’ll sit down together and discuss how we can fulfil your needs, listening to your pain points to come up with a solution that protects your product and looks good whilst doing it.
Box design forms a vital part of our business because 97% of our products are made bespoke. Once we have agreed on a style, we then need to understand how the package will be handled to determine which board grade to use. We have CAD facilities in house to enable us to design and supply samples for approval.
Once a box has been designed and board grade specified, we oversee the manufacture of your order to ensure production is on time and fulfilled without quality issues.
