High value, heavy and delicate items may require additional protection. We recommend using heavy-duty cardboard boxes to prevent damage to your items.
Heavy-duty packaging from Colton Packaging uses double-wall or triple-wall corrugated cardboard, which can be paired with additional polyethylene or polyurethane foam and polystyrene. This means your product is secure within its packaging as the materials help absorb impact and reduce movement during transit.
All products have unique requirements and so require unique packaging solutions. We offer a wide range of customisation options to help you find suitable packaging for ultimate protection. And for products that are truly unique, we can help customers design bespoke boxes produced specially to fit your items.
Whether you need industrial packaging for extra heavy items or need an additional layer of protection for fragile exports, our team of experts can help you find the right solution and deliver a fully managed packaging supply chain.
Protective packaging ensures fewer orders are broken during transit, resulting in better customer service and higher margins for the business.
Heavy-duty corrugated packaging offers high levels of protection at a lower cost than alternatives like wooden crates and metal boxes.
The additional protection of heavy-duty corrugated packaging makes it the perfect option for transport overseas.
Upon your initial enquiry, we’ll sit down together and discuss how we can fulfil your needs, listening to your pain points to come up with a solution that protects your product and looks good whilst doing it.
Box design forms a vital part of our business because 97% of our products are bespoke. Once we have agreed on a style, we then need to understand how the package will be handled to determine which board grade to use. We have CAD facilities in house to enable us to design and supply samples for approval.
Once a box has been designed and board grade specified, we oversee the manufacture of your order to ensure production is on time and fulfilled without quality issues.
We can stock your bespoke packaging in bulk which means you call-off smaller quantities of product on a ‘just-in-time’ basis to suit your production and packing schedule. We will replenish the stock when it reaches an agreed threshold to ensure continuity of supply.
